Yesterday marked one week for Hadley. And thankfully we have seen some good things happen. His tubes were taken out of his head that measure the pressure. Hadley's level of pressure has been down to the levels they need to be, and there also hasn't been any fluid draining for 48 hours. They are keeping Hadley on the ventilator until his Pneumonia is completely gone. The nurse said that the pneumonia is looking a little better everyday.

When they took out the tubes Hadley finally got his wish of having his head shaved and really looks pretty good with no hair.

It is so comforting to be able to talk to Hadley and see some kind of reaction. Mike was asking him to blink his eyes or squeeze his hand if he could hear him, and almost every time there is some kind of movement. He had a lot of visitors yesterday which meant a lot of stimulation and Hadley did well with that.

These pictures were taken before Hadley's tubes were taken out.

We have taken our camper down for people to stay in. It makes it a lot easier for everyone to have a place to go to sleep, eat, or just relax.Yesterday when we were all sitting by the camper we met this wonderful man who was staying next to us. Mike and Sheila started talking to him and found out that he was actually the pilot who flew Hadley out the day he was hurt. We decided to take a picture to show Hadley that this is one person out of many that have helped him along the way. We are so grateful for this person and all the people that have helped us along the way so far.

We have seen good things happen to Hadley this weekend and we are hoping that he keeps progressing. We know he can do it and I am sure that he knows he can too.
Keep it up Had!!

Please let me know how and when I can help. Perhaps I can visit and read to Hadley. Let me know.
    Keep your chin up!
